How can I check and see if they have also swapped the ECU or does my car still have the old ECU from the e36 engine???

from an e36 which meant that the whole engine was not properly placed, my question is
as the engine mounting shoulder part number 22 11 1 094 652 is from an e46 rather than the correct shoulder 11 81 1 137 014
Recently got my e36 z3 back from the shop and discovered that the most likely the previous owner has swapped engines on the car
I have a question that has been bugging me....
