I’m back!!

I am writing a fellow Cdn. I have a '97 Japanese Z3 with low beam headlights than shine to the left. There is a position on the top of the lights that shows L & R. I turned them, nothing! I think from what I read, the Japanese models are fixed lights. Any ideas on how switch the glass & or reflectors the other way? Barrie, Ontario.
