Hi folks

The bonnet on my Z3 appears to be sat a few millimetres further forward than it ought, giving a lip over the bumper/headlights and leaving a larger gap between it and the doors on both sides.

how do I go about adjusting this please? I’m a tinkerer of engines but bodywork is not my forte and some tips would be helpful to avoid turning a 15 minute job into an hour long one!

many thanks in advanc.

I've just done this,
You've got to loose the bolts between the bonnet hinge and body of the car so that the hinge can move ,
Then move the hinge to a better position,
Tighten the bolts,
Close the bonnet - carefully as if you've moved it too for it could collide with the doors,
Rinse and repeat until you're happy with the position.
