Anyone been through the process of renewing headlight washer jets.

I've a damaged 1 NS (missing surround) and BMW want £45 for a replacement. The access looks pretty difficult to get under the front bumper and around bends to access the underneath threaded nut.

I've found BM 7 series on fleabay for half price for 2. Just wondering if anyone has had any dealings with the washer jets.

I currently have my front bumper off in order for it to be resprayed. It wasn't too difficult to remove.. I have headlamp washers on mine and havecremoved them.. Easy with bumper off but I suspect virtually impossible with the bumper on.. Oh and yes you have to put them back on!

Yep, mini nightmare as I'd thought. I was thinking about taking the headlight out to see what access it offers?..

You probably can but you would have to do that on both sides and tbh based on my experience the bumper in entirety is easy to remove
