3 litre Z3 pretending to be Italian exotica. Two previous E89 Z4s.
Looks like what I cook fish on the BBQ with!

The 'Z3' in white on the tyre is pure class, though.
not.

Chrome ok..stripes..not so much…but then it’s your car ..do what you do. It’s a Zed so you are unlikely to lose friends on here over it 😎

yes and

no, i dont think its the chrome grills that spoil it for me, its the additional stripes that dont match with the car, and on a personal level, if i were to add the tri stripe it would be at the rear of the sill, not halfway across, screams ''ebay sticker''

but its personal choice with our cars. so up to you

Prefer the standard look, but it's your car so whatever you choose is probably right for you. Do your own thing !! :) I've never been one for doing things because 'that's what everybody else does'. I make my own decisions and then my wife tells me what to do. :D

Depends on personal taste - my gills are the usual body colour, but with silver meshes, and body colour grilles with a matching number plate surround. I also have chrome door handle covers and (Z8) washer nozzles.

EditThe problem with painted manufacturers names on tyres is that these days the writing is too large to look stylish. In olden days it could look quite nice, but I feel on modern tyres it would look overdone, as if your car were carrying an advert for the tyre manufacturer. I used to pick out the name on motorcycle tyres, using gold paint which came as clear laquer and gold dust, so it could be mixed to individual requirements. Avon, I think, were about the last manufacturer to use subtle-sized writing on their tyres.

Incidentally, black shoe polish makes tyre sidewalls look lovely, with just the right degree of lustre.
