I think I pay half that agreed at £25k. It’s through Howdens, formerly A-plan

I had trouble as there were no equivalents they could compare with, but accepted sales data from Matthewsons of the SWB 250 that had sold a few weeks before.
log book shows it’s a Tribute in my case

6000 and driveway. Two reasons to make it more pricey :) .
I have spoken to several insurance brokers about this very thing in the recent past.
Bizarrely neither of the above is true anymore.
Apparently having a low limited mileage policy puts your premium UP. So does garaging your car over keeping it on the driveway. The reasons I was given was that a garaged car is much more likely to be damaged (in the garage) than a car on a driveway. And the mileage thinking is that those who drive very little are much more likely to have a fault accident because people get out of the habit of driving safely (ie they forget how to drive).

All sounds a bit 'iffy' to me but that is what I was told. 4-5000 miles per year is the 'sweet spot' for mileage apparently.
