Hi guys and gals
My name is Glenn and I've just bought a 2015 Z4 2.028i. Will post photos in due course. Although it's a fair spec, I'm just researching all the mods and preventative stuff I should be doing. Currently have a list as long as.... cam guides and chain being just one of them! Any advice greatly appreciated but I'll check the Form before asking.

Hi.
As your E89 is a 2015 you may find it has the updated camchain guides, so may be OK. You can tell by the colour of the guides whether they are the 'breaky' type or the later 'non-breaky' ones. ;)

Welcome Glenn, and congrats on the Z4! Sounds like a great buy 👍
You’re already on the right track with the timing chain/guides. Definitely worth checking the forum as there’s loads of good info on preventative maintenance and sensible mods. Looking forward to seeing the photos when you get a chance!
