2001 3.0 Door handles

Anyone discovered, as I did today, the heating control blasting air to both door handles??.. (edit - exterior door handles)

Definitely linked as I switched it off n back on and there's a definite air flow, unfortunately it's cold air although I only ran the engine 5 minutes or so

The cab was toasty as usual but firm cold air was on the handles??...

I get a cold draught through the speaker grill. I think if the door membrane is damaged or the rubber on the door hinge is missing then you get this.

Just been out to check. All door rubbers intact and nothing through the speakers. ....Bizzare! Need to have a proper look again tomorrow in daylight.

Be great if it was warm air but seems to be cooled in a very short distance

Air circulation inside the doors, I guess it'd do a drying out job similar to a Carcoon and prevent rust but it's only noticeable under level 3-4 of the blower.

Query is, is it a fault or intentional..mysterious!!
