Write Up Euro trip 2026

Just returned from a great 2,500 mile trip through France, Germany, Switzerland and Italy. Two nights at Lake Garda then a drive down to Tuscany including a detour to take in the Raticosa and Futa passes, Four nights in Tuscany and return via lake Como and the mandatory crossing of the San Gothard, Furka, Grimsel and Susten passes.

Excellent Mike. That's some trip for a young chap like you! Keep going while you can, unfortunately I'm 'grounded' again for at least six months. Fortunately my wife can drive so we can get out, but I'm not a good passenger.

It was about 40 degrees at the beginning of the trip but cooled down a bit later.
