Is it ok to leave the roof down for days at a time...

Be careful putting the roof down with a cold window there is a risk of it splitting.
Ive been out in the zed in minus temps with roof down as long as you warm car a bit direct center vents towards rear screen warm it a bit be fine .

Had roof down through Tyndrum loch lomond side and back to Ayrshire at weekend temp down to 0.5 at times

The rear window is definitely the problem; pad it out to prevent creasing if it's down for any length of time.

Here in Texas, during July and August, I will drop the top and leave it down until about noon, when it's close to or above 100°F. In winter months the top stays up. I have left the top down on the 3 or 4 days of spring with no issues, unless it rains.
