Luckily I have had good experiences so far of parts coming from Germany, being delivered in about 6-9 days

This shows the angle of the two bolts. @AntStark and I had no luck attaching the M7 nuts as the fuel rail and electric rail are in the way. Going underneath is at the wrong angle. Are there any videos or instructions for removing the rails? Thanks Richard

@AntStark and I had no luck with the new M7 nuts for the manifold. Unless both bolts are damged the nuts don't take.

It looks like the two bolts are angled as shown in the top photo.

Looking for some write ups and or videos for fuel rail and electric conduit removal.

We’ll try it with a flexy socket extension first before taking anything apart

Undo the two 10mm bolts holding the fuel rail in place, you can tilt it over for better access. Or even lift it up slightly, just holding down the injectors on 0-rings.

That's the power for the injectors and manifold sensor, Can either pop that off or leave it attached.

I would try your best to leave the electrical bar on the fuel rail, because the clips that hold it on are an absolute nightmare, at least for me anyway

Fuel injector plugs are not bad to get off once you get used to them.

It literally takes brute force. Start at one end and pry the rail until the plug comes loose. Seams wrong at first but the plugs do just snap on and off. They don't break and the metal clip just expanded and comes off the injector.

Hi prying anything on a 26 year old car scares me somewhat

Decided that a local garage the best option for these bolts/nuts.
Not risking prying anything that is likely to snap

Might be worth replacing the mssing nuts initially just to see if it makes any difference?

It wont be leaking air, it will be sucking air in.

Remove that manifold cover with the two 10mm nuts and you'll have clear access. 10 minute job max.
