PLEASE READ:

Hi all, a quick update, a handful of us did another test run yesterday which in the main went really well. There are a couple of bits to still adjust but we are almost sorted.
One decision made was to reduce the numbers in each group from eight to six although two groups at the minute are still at seven. If at this point anyone is thinking they will not be able to attend please say so so i can adjust the group numbers accordingly. We felt that it was going to prove difficult in places to not loose the back half of each group.
I've opened up a 5th group now and moved a few peeps about to make the 5th group. I apologise if this doesn't suit anyone but i'm sure you appreciate it's difficult to please everyone when you have 55 people on board. I am looking for a leader and back marker for group five if anyone would be happy to step up.

The end point and meal destination is now booked and confirmed at Windmill farm. We have seats organised and there is masses of parking on site plus empty business' next door if absolutely necessary.

We are in a function room away from the main bar area which works out great as there are so many of us.
The food is a carvery which will be served in the same room, there is also a bar in the room. When you enter the premises through the main door turn RIGHT and follow the corridor straight into the function room. There are toilets just before entering the function room. Just pay for your meal at the bar and join the queue for the carvery. Anyone who doesn't want a carvery or has preferences such as vegetarian can order from the normal main menu. Hopefully everyone will find something to suit.

I will confirm timings in the next few weeks.

Thanks all 👍

Hi all, the leader for group 4 has had to pull out so I'm looking for someone to step up and take the role. Unfortunately this doesn't move one up from the reserve list as this group was carrying one to many as it was. If no one from group 4 steps up and someone else does it will mean shuffling someone else about.
We will be running a final reccy in the coming weeks with the other group leaders so you'd be welcome to join that, you will also be sent a file to add to your sat nav by some miracle I have no clue about 🤷 but others involved do so all will be well.
Thanks muchly. 👍

Welcome to the back markers
Thanks mate, that's a good point, Paul will be requiring someone to run at the back of his group, any volunteers welcome 👍

Seem to think I missed that one because I was on holiday, but a photo from an earlier one popped up on my f book page yesterday. It was just of our group that day with me, Alan Slade, Phillip Baxter, Dawn and several others.Great memories thanks to Tony.:)

That may have been Tony's very first cruise, Ken. We got chatting in the pub afterwards, if I remember correctly as we waited for our food and the trillion members ahead of us getting theirs first. It was a great day thanks to Tony and Shirley for her treats.
