Never thought about getting shattied on by a bird when driving roof down, even though I only did it for a year after having my hardtop on for three years.
On another forum there was a post about some bloke coming back to his Z and someone had lobbed half a fried chicken in it...

You don't need a cabrio for that, I had a bee come in my side window in my jeep, got itself stuck behind my back and my bucket seat that I was strapped into, little bugger stung me, hurt like a SOB.

We were walking along the sea front in Douglas IOM some years ago when Shirl got shat on by a rather large shitehawk, she asked for tissue and it didn't help when I commented that it was too late cos the bird would a mile away by now! :(

That's why my wife hates my car, all set for a drive out to some sleepy village with promises of lunch and whatever browsing she wants to do arts and fartsy craft and fairs darn. As soon as she sat in the car a flying cow did the mungus bird bombing run I had ever seen straight on her head and dress. Well you can gather we're the day went from there. Probably didn't help me pmsl and adding good save on the leather and carpet.

Your're not safe from flying cows in New Zealand. There are truck loads of Cows driving down the road doing 90 kmph and if the cow poo tanks on the truck are full, you don't want to get anywhere near the green haze behind the trucks or have one go past you going the other way.

Getting covered in it is one problem, inhaling it is another.
