Use the smallest one that you can hammer onto the Allen screw head mate and keep a constant pressure on when you start to turn it. I have used and abused this set of 10 for over 10 years now and I wouldn't be without them. Irvin tools are also sold by Mac Tools dealers and have a lifetime warranty too.

Take it everything you've tried is slipping round

It's just not turning at all. I've tried a punch and heavy hammer to get it to move its properly stuck! I've tried heat too

If you've got a good grip on the end of it to apply enough force without it slipping something will give
Either the bolt will turn or you'll shear the head off it and be left with drilling it out.
Can sympathise been there before several times over the years and i know the fact the car isn't up in the air on a ramp is really going to hinder your access.

Heat is the answer, Martin, find an old soldering iron, one with a large copper head. Heat it up as hot as you can get it, then rest it on the head of the Allen screw. The heat will be transferred into the bolt and expand it. Apply some WD40 to the bolt. Repeat two or three times then try to undo it.

Don't use a naked flame to try and heat up the bolt, remember you have a tank full of petrol just above your head.
