£97.70 per person per night based on 2 people in each room, off peak, whatever that means. If it's available then it hasn't been taken up, so a cheeky offer might be worth a punt. As a benchmark a Cunard cruise can be had for less than £100pppn full board if booked within 30 days of sailing.

Could be 11 Z couples or friends, with or without benefits.

Self catering with a pub nearby. Wouldn't cost much to pop into a Costco/supermarket en route to buy foodstuffs for 22 folk.

Many eons ago (c2000-01) on a Z meet to blatt around the Lakes for a weekend we paid more than that. We also got banned from a hostelry in the locale of Keswick for filling the jacuzzi baths with washing up liquid to create bubbles, that filled the full bathroom and bedroom and out into the car park. Another we were banned for wrapping a Z3M roadster in Tesco Value shopping bags in the car park.

This location probably holds less risk of banning due to it's location.

Seems like a site for Z enthusiasts to enjoy a short trip away.

Questions have been raised over the Cumbria pub's accommodation being used for hen and stag parties.

It all looks a bit ostentatious to me.
It also looks like it has been renovated in a way to appeal directly to 'stag and hen' parties, although the owners seem to be denying it. Either that or they are looking to appeal to a certain travelling community, as it's a bit of a 'pikey palace'.
