My '98, 2.8 Roadster's rad has finally developed a hairline crack in the plastic on the LH side.
The Real Oem p/no is 17111427165.
Nissens 60638, or some imported options from Germany by Diederichs are possibilities.
Does anyone have recommendations from experience?

Cheers and happy Christmas!

Nissens are a OE assembly line supplier for many cars, although they did not supply theZ3 rad, you can be sure that the Z3 rads they supply for aftermarket will be a top quality rad,
I have a Nissens rad on my car, slightly more expensive, my moto,
fit and forget,
fit cheap, fit twice……
Sometimes ECP have offers where if you register with them they discount your first order….
I’d be tempted to fit a new viscous coupling and drive belt at the same time, if they’ve not been changed in the last 10/20k miles……

Yes agreed, I'd rather fit a better quality spare. Thanks for your advice, much appreciated!

Could use some advise - I ordered a new TRQ radiator along with new hoses, OEM water pump and aluminum thermostat housing for a cooling system overhaul two weeks ago and then the following day I found an all aluminum unit on sale for $120 on Amazon so I ordered that one with a plan to return the TRQ unopened.
then when I went to install the aluminum radiator (which looks very well made), I realized that the ally radiator is thicker and the fan shroud is now a ball hair away from contacting the mechanical fan blades. So I’ve removed the aluminum radiator and gor the car on the road with the far cheaper looking TRQ with plastic end caps. does anyone know if running without a shroud will be a big problem in Texas or is there a mod I can make to a plastic shroud without having to throw another $200 at the car.
i have spent $2K getting the car on the road and am torn between budget and Common sense now as I still have a suspension overhaul ahead in the spring. opinions welcomed.
