Hello all,

Does anyone on here have a set of Roadster bags they are contemplating selling? Ideally the full set of 3, if not, just the two larger bags would do.

If you are looking to sell please do send me a PM, ideally including condition and of course a price.

Many thanks,

Ken

I just bought a set from the Road Trip Luggage site linked in post #2. Delivery is 7-9 business days, I'll provide a thorough review once they arrive

I bloody hope not since shipping alone was like £86!! =)) But I'll let you know!

Edit to add: I checked some reviews of the company (yes, yes, yes I should have done that first lol), and one UK customer in 2019 mentioned a £30 customs charge before the courier would deliver the package. Oh well, we'll see!

Would be interested in knowing the extra charges you have to pay as and when John. Thx

Bags arrived today. No import duty to be paid 💪

I'm busy with work to do much with them right now, but I'll have a good look at them later and get some piccies.

Is there anything anyone wants to know about them?

It would be good to know how much room is left in the boot.

When we do european road trips we have 2 large fabric holdalls that fill the boot 90% but leave enough room here and there for tyre inflator, tools, jump leads etc...

I think I'm going to struggle to really assess them and the remaining space until they're fully packed. It looks like the whole right hand corner remains free though, so I'll be using that space for a compressor, tool kit, detailing spray etc. If you didn't have a power roof you'd have the left hand corner too - but I have the power roof. I think it would still fit with a CD Changer, but the Toblerone shaped bag would be a little squished.
There is a bit of space on top too that would be good for coats or a few wrapped up bottles of wine. At the moment I have laid my tonneau cover on top and the boot still closes, although I suspect it squishes the top of the bags down a bit.

Material-wise they feel like a good quality hold-all, the stitching looks decent and the handles and zips feel solid.

overall I am really pleased and looking forward to packing up for a road trip down to Italy in a couple of weeks!
