Noticed my local dismantlers had a zed in..it’s been there a while, but now in the area where you can go pick stuff off it yourself. Most of the interior is down to the carcass but did manage to grab a nice pair of chrome grills and an air vent. I got that vent off without breaking the clip! ..the dash has seen better days now though 😆

Picked up the car last Tuesday from mechanic with Roadworthy in hand, plus shiny new exhaust and rear discs, here's what I've bought so far:
Antenna delete
Replacement Hazard switch
Clips for door sills
New gear knob
New right side defroster vent - not yet installed...scared...

Original owner had a Bluetooth radio transmitter in the cigarette lighter that connected via radio signal…new Continental radio connects via Bluetooth automatically and maintains that factory look!
Plug and play or did you need a pig tail? Looking at the same radio but cannot tell if it's straightforward connection or not. Thanks!

Plug and play with a separate wiring harness that I bought off Amazon - hooks directly into the factory connection and then plugs into the back of the radio (no cutting/splicing required for mine).

How is it working...Bluetooth connecting? It's in my cart, so ready to pull the trigger.
So far it’s connecting perfectly! Headunit doesn’t turn on with ignition, you do have to physically turn it on (which I prefer because I don’t always want it on right away).

Bluetooth connects fantastic each time! Only negative, when streaming music (I use Pandora) it doesn’t display on the headunit what’s playing, just says A2DP - very minor…but I do like to know the song that’s playing without picking up my phone!

For the price and what I wanted (a factory looking radio with Bluetooth capabilities) I couldn’t be happier!

Thanks for all that data. I love the look as well. Yeah, I want a radio that is off when I turn on the car. I don't normally stream music, so the display thing is not an issue for me. Thanks again! I ordered the radio and the pig tail, just now.

I think you’ll be happy with it! (I can’t vouch for fm radio, my car doesn’t have an antennae 😂) but it was by far the easiest radio swap I’ve ever done on any of my cars - so I hope all goes well for you too. (hardest part was figuring out the release for the factory harness to the radio)
Glad I could help you commit to it!
