Me again.
I see you have been on donations..
I tried to make a donation, as I think this site is irreplaceable, but it won't seem to take any money without setting up a paypal account.
Which I don't want to do.
Any ideas ?

I'll echo that. I've tried to donate but....PayPal. They are a pack of unregulated thieves and crooks who I will not deal with.
Hi Ade
Interesting you bought a 3.0, I was looking for a 3.0 also but ended up with a 2.8 facelift. The 3.0's I saw were either;-
1. Very expensive
2. Not got sport seats etc.

have you any pics of yours ??

Hi Gordon.. I managed to bag a really nice 2002 sports edition a couple of months ago.. Previous owner had it 12 years only used as a summer car 68,000 on clock.. I think I was just lucky a dealer who took it on px out it on Autotrader late one evening and I rang him first thing, jumped in my car for a 3 1/2 mile drive and purchased it by 2.00pm...

Hi Frankie. I am replying on this new account I created. The other one had a typo.
Beautiful car you have…. I believe you were talking about a Z3 boot cover. Yes they are intended to be folded and put in the trunk. I’m sure you could find one out there for sale. I love it, but I find it difficult to snap on.

sorry forgot to answer one of your questions.... Yes the boot cover is intended to be folded and stored in the trunk.... In fact in order to get the thing on the instructions tell you to folded significantly.... So yes it is very foldable

I don't know what they cost. Did yours come with the car or did you purchase it separately?.............Frankie
Hi, I was given your contact as someone who may be able to help me. I have a1998 Z3 and am looking for the silver "roadster" full trim which fits the sill protector. It is light metal and came loose and is badly bent. Any advice would be appreciated.
Thanks

@AKERR did you ever find a replacement for these? I’m after one, best I’ve found is replacing the whole plastic section that holds the silver strip but it’s pricey so holding out for alternatives
Hi, Steve Tan here in Runcorn. I'd like to get seat bushes for my 1998 2.8 Z3 - both seats. Can you help? Thanks.
Thank you for all the greetings! I’m looking forward to learning from everyone here, I’m from Bucks County Pennsylvania USA and have been loving having a convertible again my last one was in high school back in the mid 80’s I can’t because I waited this long!
Hi, In light of todays passing of the Queen I doubt if the event over the weekend will be taking place during the period of National Mourning so I have cancelled our planned attendance.

Hi Andyboy. Thanks for your input. What engine is in your Z3? Mine is the 98 6 pot 2.8.
bit of a hike for me i am in Chester, but willing to travel for the right car, can i have the registration number please?, just want to look at the old Mot's and i know you have done a fair bit of work of late, just gives me an idea of the overall condition. Also, mud flaps aren't to my taste, would they come off without causing much damage ? cheers
Hi Andy, Apparently you are the man I should speak to first regarding the alarm fob/bricks.

I have a 1998 z3 1.9 Auto which arrived with no alarm fob and the alarm unplugged - basically I would like to try and get it working again.

Can you help?

Cheers
